In early 2019 Ronî, a Kurdish guitar player based in Berlin, asked to me to cover a scratch on his guitar with a drawing. I thought of making a stencil in the shape of an olive branch with the laser cut.

The olive branch is an international symbol of peace and it’s also linked to the city of Afrin in northeastern Syria.
